The public has 45 days from the date of publication (i.e. until 2/4/04) to comment. The proposed rule change is also posted on the DPR Web site: http://www.ildpr.com/WHO/ARpropsd/WEBpropVet.pdf Illinois Department of Professional Regulation Suspends Veterinarian License The State has temporarily suspended the license of a Pecatonica veterinarian. Annual Convention Closing In Help make the ISVMA Convention a SUCCESS! Call a colleague that normally doesn’t attend convention and encourage her/him to attend this year. There are many exciting changes and some high quality program options. The early registration deadline of January 20^th is fast approaching. Hotel reservations should be made at the Sheraton Chicago Northwest (888) 627-8093. Ask for the ISVMA discount so your room applies to our contract requirement! ISVMA Website A Huge Hit In the three weeks that the new ISVMA Website has been on line, we’ve received 10 member applications and had another 12 people register for the convention on line. If you haven’t registered for convention yet, you may want to fill out the on line registration form! It’s easy and readily accessible to members and non-members alike. In the next few months, we plan to add a service to veterinary clients. They will be able to click on an Illinois map and get a list of all ISVMA member veterinarians in their county.
